This Monday is Pi Day and to celebrate the day (or exploit, whatever), I will bake a series of (when I say series, I mean two) tasty pies for Serenade Restaurant's Ultra Special Pie Menu.  The pies to be gobbled will be an olive oil peppered bacon oatmeal pie, and a sweet buttered brown sugar and green apple oatmeal pie.

Haha, great minds think.... about pie. we also celebrated Pi day on this side of the pond, I made a baked strawberry mint pie and a pizza pie that may have more of a savory galette; i accidentally made the pastry too big and just folded that sucker over to cover most of the filling. pretty damned delicious.
